March 2010: Successful ISO/IEC 27001 Certification

NII Consulting (Network Intelligence (India) Pvt. Ltd.) is the first information security consulting company in India to be awarded the ISO /IEC 27001 certification. ISO/IEC 27001 is an Information Security standard which requires creating, managing and maintaining a robust information security management system.

NII is the first Indian Information Security consulting firm to achieve the ISO 27001 certification. 2006 Milestones

NII commences Bahrain operations

NII marks a major milestone in its quest to becoming a global consulting office, with the establishment of its first overseas office in Bahrain. After successful completion of several projects the Bahrain office will help establish a stronger presence in the Middle East, and also help us work closer with partners in the regions like Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar.

CERT-In Empanelment as IT Security Auditors

NII was empaneled with CERT-In as one of the few well-qualified IT Security Auditors. CERT-In is formed under the Department of Information Technology, Government of India. This panel is created for auditing (including vulnerability assessment and penetration testing of computer systems networks, and critical infrastructure) of various organizations of the Government and those in other sectors of the Indian economy. The empanelment is a rigorous process which expects an organization to meet various requirements. NII's company profile, methodology, approach, and consultant strengths, all played an important role to achieve this empanelment.

IT Audit at the United Nations World Food Programme, Rome

NII's most prestigious project mandate so far - an IT audit based on BS 7799 and ITIL/BS 15000 of the United Nations, World Food Programme's IT infrastructure in Rome, Italy. This also marks our first important foray into Europe.

BS 7799 for Gulf Research Center

We achieved another success for our BS 7799 consulting practice when the Gulf Research Center, a Dubai-based research institute focusing on geo-political issues, was certified by Moody's International as being compliant to the BS 7799 standard. Consultants from Network Intelligence assisted GRC right from the start, till the final audit and certification.

New Office space

As the company has grown in strength and reputation, the need for larger office space was acute. With the start of the new year, we shifted to a new office located close to the Western Express highway, and only 20 minutes away from both the domestic and international airports.
